Three years ago, the Fantasia Verlag GmbH published the first comprehensive LEGO collector’s catalogue on the 50th anniversary of the LEGO brick. Since then, millions of new bricks made their way into playrooms, and numerous new fantastic worlds were created. After all, six LEGO bricks with eight knobs each can be combined in more than 915 million ways. Enough reasons for the catalogue's creators to produce a revised and updated version. The new edition comes with many improvements and a little gift for collectors: An exclusive key ring featuring the Classic Space logo.
The bilingual catalogue (German/English) shows images of more than 7,000 LEGO sets consisting of more than one million LEGO parts, beginning with the very first LEGO brick made of cellulose acetate in 1949 in chronological order.
The new work of reference provides detailed information of every single LEGO set: The set’s number and name, the number of parts it contains, the sales period of the set and the continents that the set was sold in.
Another great feature of the book is a rating which shows the rarity and therefore the collector's value of the displayed sets (beginning with one brick for "very common" to six bricks for the hardest-to-get items) - an indispensable feature especially for collectors.
The comprehensive collector's catalogue "LEGO Collector – 2. Edition" details every year from 1949 to 2011 in a chapter of its own. It will be available at the end of June 2011 in the online shop of Fantasia Verlag (
